Benjamin
Franklin, one of the Fathers of America, sought
to constantly improve himself by using a plan of 13 virtues, which he
developed
in 1726 at the age of 20. Ben
followed this
plan for the
attainment of moral perfection in some form for the rest
of his life. Read

John F. Kennedy on taxes
"It is a
paradoxical truth that tax rates are too high and tax revenues are too
low and the soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to
cut the rates now ... Cutting taxes now is not to incur a budget
deficit, but to achieve the more prosperous, expanding economy which
can bring a budget surplus."

Tsuribori
A 'tsuribori' is a man-made, artificially stocked fishing pond found in
the middle of large Japanese cities, which gives busy city-dwellers a
chance to relax amidst the bustle of city life. Bait & rental
tackle are available, and although you usually have to put back the
fish you catch, sometimes you receive vouchers for your caught
fish which can be used for tackle or as a discount toward your next
visit. This one can be seen
from the platform of the JR Ichigaya train station in Tokyo.

capitalism. It's a remarkable story about all the astonishing
private-sector equipment & devices that magically appeared in
the Atacama Desert from the distant corners of capitalism.
