"Alice in Wonderland" has some messages

by Yuki I.
(Chiba, Japan)

I like Disney pictures very much. Especially, I’m very interested in "Alice in Wonderland." Watching this movie is a good way for one to understand the Disney world and England.

The reason why we can study about England by knowing the Disney world thru “Alice in Wonderland” is that it was written by a man who lived in England. His name is Charles Lutwidge Dodgson.

The story is one of the famous children's novels of England, and it's a very powerful and impressive story!! In this story, Dodgson wrote some amusing anecdotes about him and his friends.

Also, he criticizes metaphorically the culture which school children in England are used to learn things by heart. In my opinion, it's very important for a movie and story to have a strong message for people, especially for the next generations.

As I wrote, "Alice in Wonderland" has some messages criticizing the way of studying in England. So, I'd like you to watch the movie or read the story again, and please feel some messages.

I enjoyed reading your story, Yuki. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

Since my childhood days, I've also liked seeing Disney films.

Thanks to you, maybe it's time for me to rent Alice in Wonderland & see it again. Thanks for your nice recommendation.

So what's another Disney movie that you like?
