Australia is a beautiful country!!

by Risa
(Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan)

Australia is one of the countries that I want to visit. I like animals, especially the koala, but I've never seen it. So I've wanted to go there to see a koala for a long time.

In Australia, there is a lot of nature. Therefore, so many animals live there. Kangaroos, Wombats, and of course my favorite koala!! You know the koala is soooooo cute!!! Koalas eat leaves of blue gum. I didn't know it is called "blue gum," because in Japan, it's called "eucaly."

I want to visit Australia someday!!

by: Gary Wolff

I agree, Risa. Koalas are soooooo cute !!!

In fact my sister LOVES the little Japanese "Koala no Machi" creme-filled cookies, and asks me to bring her some as a souvenir every time I return back home to Houston.

Thanks for your nice story...
