Beautiful starlit sky

I have never been to New Zealand, but one of my friends has been there. She spent 2 years there and told me lots of stories and her favourite places. Especially, I remember that she talked about a place people wanted to register as a world heritage. It's called "Lake Tekapo."
Why do people want to register it as a world heritage? I didn't know then... So I decided to research by myself and report to you.
Lake Tekapo is in the center of the south island of New Zealand. The reason why people want to register it is the beautiful starlit sky. The air is so fresh and clean that we can see many twinkly stars in the sky.
It attracts star-watching fans from all over the world. If it's registered as a world heritage, it also would be the first world heritage just as a starlit sky.
So now lots of star-fans, heritage-fans, and people in New Zealand pay attention to it. And everyone is waiting for the registration of a beautiful starlit sky in 2011, and visiting there - of course, me too!
