Gorgeous Scottish Breakfast

An example of a Scottish breakfast
I have been to England once. I felt that England was a very wonderful country at that time. However, there really wasn't any English food that could give me a good impression.
Recently I heard that a British breakfast, especially a Scottish breakfast is very gorgeous and delicious.
I was very surprised at that account, because I never have imagined the breakfast in the northern part of England is delicious.
But I found that Scottish breakfasts have been famous for a long time. For instance, Dr. Samuel Johnson who was an English author in the 18th century said: "Anybody who is a gourmet would prefer to eat breakfast in Scotland, even if he had dinner anywhere in the world on the previous night."
By the way, what is the content of a Scottish breakfast? I can give some examples: porridge (oatmeal gruel), potato scones, oatcake (oatmeal biscuit), toasted bread with marmalade or heather honey, haggis (stuffed mutton pudding), black pudding (pig blood sausage), bacon, kippers (smoked herring), fried eggs, baked tomatoes, and so on.
When I imagine a breakfast like that, I feel a good appetite. If I have a chance to go to Scotland, I will try to eat a Scottish breakfast.
