How to obtain a certificate for my Mt. Fuji climb?

by Jim
(United States)

Gary,

Excellent web site. When I was stationed in South Korea (1960/61) in U.S. Army, I climbed Mt. Fuji. I brought my walking stick with all the brands back to the U.S. in three pieces. I have the sunrise brand and stations 3 through the top.

I've read about obtaining a certificate for my climb. Would a picture of my walking stick be enough evidence that I climbed Mt. Fuji? Also do you have any tips for getting the certificate?

I am a bit confused since it appears that there is a certificate for reaching the top and a letter for just climbing. Can you clarify? Thanks in advance for your help.

Jim

Howdy, Jim! Thanks for your kind words and your service to our country.

The only Mt. Fuji certificate I'm aware of is the one referenced on my Climbing Mt. Fuji FAQ page: https://www.garyjwolff.com/climbing-mt-fuji.html#38

Best wishes to you...

Cheers,
Gary
