In Loving Memory of Don Davis
June 2, 1953 - July 31, 2013
Our wonderful, longtime American friend went to be with the Lord at the
ripe young age of only 60, after fighting a brief illness in a Tokyo
hospital. Don was one of the most gracious human beings one could ever
know, and was a longtime entertainer for young Japanese children in
English education stage shows conducted in public halls all over Japan.
He was also a teacher for the young mentally-challenged.
People come and people go Some leave
footprints in
the snow. But in the end you
may
find Some leave
footprints in
your mind.
--G.W. Hall--
And you left me many wonderful footprints, my dear friend. Love you,
miss you, and will never forget you, Daaa. Rest in peace and have a
ball up there on the big playground in the sky.

This is a shout out for Don Davis a long time resident in Tokyo, and
anyone who may have known him, and like me, be saddened by his passing.
Just heard Don Died at the end of July after months of illness.
I met Don maybe 8 yrs or so ago, through Greg Allen a fellow Texan who
had a bike shop in Nippori.
A very nice guy, who rode here in Tokyo, no big bikes, but as he said,
it set him free here.
Always a sad thing when a foreigner dies far from home friends and
family.
Rest in peace, Don.
