Intriguing points about New Zealand

I've never been to New Zealand, though if I had a chance I'd like to go there. In this assignment, I investigated about NZ. So I found 2 intriguing points.
First, it's a country suitable for sightseeing. Over 2.4 million tourists go there every year. There is vast nature, a lotta sheep which there are more of than there are people in NZ, famous locations used by filming of "The Lord Of The Rings," and so on.
Second is the ecosystem. The North island, South Island, and Stewart Island were isolated from the continent, so a unique ecosystem was formed. Since it lacks almost all of the mammals, the fowl grows as a niche for the terrestrial mammal. The fowl are "flightless birds."
You think these are interesting points, don't you? If you think so, you should check about NZ on your PC. :-)
