Is there a way to make a reservation at a Mt. Fuji mountain hut on line?

by Lori

Hi Gary,

Is there a way to make a reservation at a mountain hut on line? Do you know how far in advance they take reservations? I tried looking at the websites, but they were all in Japanese. I think I'm interested in Fujisan because you wrote that they speak some English.

thanks

Just skype them
by: Gary Wolff

Lori,

It's best to just skype them @ the numbers on this page: https://www.garyjwolff.com/mt-fuji-mountain-huts.html (Japan time = EDT + 13 hrs.)

If the person who answers doesn't speak English, then they'll transfer you to someone who does, if available.

Speak slowly and clearly and you shouldn't have any trouble...
