Is there parking at the Yoshida Trail Sengen Shrine?

by Casey
(Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan )

I own a car here in Japan and would like to do the traditional climb. Is there a place I can park my car for about two days to go up and down the mountain?

Not sure

Casey, I'm not sure how old this info is, but this page shows that there is visitor parking: http://www.mustlovejapan.com/subject/fuji_sengen_shrine/

If not, then maybe you can catch a bus from Fujisan Station (formerly called Fujiyoshida Station) or Kawaguchiko Station where there is probably parking.

For further confirmation, you might want to call Robin @ the Fujiyoshida City intl. affairs desk: 0555-24-1236 (8:30-5:30, Mon.-Fri.)

Best wishes with your climb...
