Italy, a special place in Europe

Leaning Tower of Pisa

Leaning Tower of Pisa

I have never been to Italy, but I am very familiar with it. Because when I was a primary school student, I learnt that there was a very famous experiment in the Leaning Tower of Pisa, held by Galileo to prove that two balls, one heavy and the other light, would land at the same time if they were dropped from the same height.

Italy is not only the home of many scientists, but also the home of many European cultures. It was the birthplace of the movement of the Renaissance, which began in Tuscany and spread all over Europe. It still has a big influence until now.

Italy's capital Rome has been the center of Western civilization. I think it is the country where a lot of new couples want to have their honeymoon because of its culture and beautiful scenery.
