Times Square

Times Square

Last year, I was in NY to study English and I could experience a lot. My first impression of America was what an American was. I mean America had many kinds of people.

There were people who looked like Europeans, Africans, Asians, etc. However, everybody says "I'm American." It was so strange for me because in Japan, most all people look the same.

For example, skin color, hair style, and language are not so different. Also, it was difficult to find foreigners. In America, especially NY, there were a lot of kinds of people and cultures, and everybody respected them. When I knew that, I was really moved and respected America!!!
