My holidays in the U.S.A.

by Yuki
(Japan)

America is one of the countries I like. There are many theme parks such as Disney World and Universal Studios, also known in Japan, and it has a lot of diversity of cultures: language, race, religion, etc.

The last time I visited there, I went to a tennis summer camp. It was my first time going to a summer camp in the states. First, I was quite worried whether I could make myself be understood in English or not. Fortunately I didn't have any problem, and I could make myself be understood and there were some Latins who could speak Spanish.

The summer camp was in a college, so my image of the universities or colleges in the USA is from that college. The college's campus is so huge. There is a pool, many tennis courts, big cafeteria, volleyball court, stores, etc. Therefore I thought Japanese universities are also like it but they aren't, so I got really disappointed.

After the camp I went to Disney World. There are 6 different parks like that in Florida. Any Japanese who likes to go to Disneyland should go there. It is very recommended.

I would like to go there again soon. Next time might be for studies. I really want to live there.
