Not only soccer but baseball

I love baseball. (I am a great fan of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows and the Chiba Lotte Marines especially!!)
Although we have an image of soccer in Brazil, in fact, baseball is also little by little becoming strong. It was the World Baseball Classic this year that the strength had appeared well.
They participated from the qualifying round, advanced to a favorable condition, such as defeating the outstanding team Panama twice, and advanced even to the 1st round. Although defeated in the first round, they fought well against Japan and Cuba.
Immigrants from Japan went to Brazil 100 years or more ago. It is said that they began to play baseball which was established from that time.
I am taking notice of the baseball of Brazil which is competitive with Japan and burns with revenge.
