Saudi Arabia

To begin with, I don't know very much about this country. Sure, I've heard about the richness certain people have made, by drilling for one of the world's most valuable resources - oil, and Saudi Arabia has plenty of this.

Usually a country that's selling their natural resources, like ore for example are very poor, but in this case they became one of the richest nations in the world. Some of these oil sheikhs have their own airplanes, airport, and even amusement parks and bought whole sports teams in foreign countries, just like they don't know what to do with all the money.

Because of this wealth, they also have very modern cities and infrastructure, which stays in contrast to the fact that by far, most Saudis are Muslims. But despite the high grade of development in this country, they live a very strict interpretation of this religion. Sadly this leads to many cases of a breach of human rights, an arbitrary system of justice, and a generally substantially unequal treatment of genders.

So as far as I know, women are not allowed to be outside when alone or without covering up the whole body. They have no right to vote and are not even allowed to drive a car.

I hope I didn't confuse this with another country...
