Stress Rate in Singapore

Singapore

Singapore is a small country located near my home town, Medan, Indonesia. It takes 1 hour by plane from Medan to Singapore and thus I am quite familiar with Singapore. Singapore is a developed country aside from the fact that it is very small in size and mostly consists of Chinese Singaporeans. They speak Mandarin and English in a very unique accent or Singlish (Singaporean English) as we usually call it.

I went there before when I was still in elementary school with my family during holiday. And as far as I can remember, Singaporean people always look so busy. They walk so fast, talk and message with cellphone endlessly in the street. They also look so thin and I do think maybe because they work so hard there. Well, the Singaporean stress rate is reported quite high though. Not only adults, but the stress rate of kids is also quite high because of the workload in offices and schools.

Talking about Singapore, I would like to recommend a good movie about Singapore life, "I Not Stupid Too." Overall, I think Singapore is a nice place to visit but not to live in, though.
