Switzerland cuisine

Switzerland is very famous for its particular cheese and chocolate. The country's food is very unique because it has influences from Italy, France, and Germany. Traditional Swiss food is actually very rich, in both flavor and calories, and rarely uses herbs and spices.

Swiss cheese, made up of raw milk, is perhaps the most famous cheese to come out of the country and mostly made by hand. On the other hand, Swiss cuisine also has several fondue variations. Fondue is traditionally a pot of melted cheeses in which chunks of bread or vegetables are then dipped into it. Fondue also makes for dessert, as in fondue Chinoise (beef fondue), or chocolate fondue with fruit and cakes dipped into it.

Switzerland's chocolate is also very famous for its fine quality products which come in many styles and flavors. These are some major chocolate manufacturers that are well-known in Switzerland; Lindt, Nestle, and Suchard. The Swiss enjoy eating chocolate so much that the Swiss eat the most chocolate out of any country in the world. They do produce a fine chocolate anyway.

So if you go to Switzerland, be sure not to miss the cheese and chocolate there!
