The famous president in South Africa

I think the famous president in South Africa is Nelson Mandela. He won the Nobel peace prize in 1993. He attended a lot of revolutionary activities, and also stayed in prison for 27 years. He joined the Anti-Apartheid Movement, fighting for human rights.
But he died on 2013/12/3. A lot of country leaders attended his funeral, including American president Obama. The big event was that Obama took a selfie during the memorial service for Nelson Mandela. This event gave all media a chance to discuss whether this behavior was proper or not.
