What is the nearest campsite to Tsurugi-dake?

What is the nearest campsite to Tsurugi-dake? Can we camp at Kenzanso Mountain Hut? We plan to go the 3rd week of September, 2014.

Any advice on the best time to go? Thank you very much.

Maybe Tsurugi-sawa Goya (剣沢小屋). This page says they have 200 tent sites: http://www.inkknot.com/yamagoya/04-06.php

Not sure, but I don't think so.

Anytime from mid-July to early Oct. would be my recommendation. Mon. 9/15 & Tues. 9/23 are national holidays, so I'd try to avoid those weekends.

Watch out for typhoons! :-)
