Winter sports

When somebody talks about Canada, my first thoughts would be snow, ice hockey, skiing, etc. Winter sports! :)

Ice hockey is a very interesting sport (fast, physical, stick handling,...). Sadly, having never watched NHL (not my major field of interest), a quick google search shows that seven Canadian teams are participating in the NHL. Which is quite a large number and shows their commitment to this sport.

And one player I just recall from Canada: Sidney Crosby. A little video:



Ah, and of course Wayne Gretzky!!!

And there is also skiing (alpine, cross country, etc), curling, and more... all thanks to snow!
