Would it be a stupid idea to climb Mt. Fuji in the last week of February?

I am likely to be in Japan from the 20th of February to the 2nd of March. Do you think that it's possible to climb Mount Fuji during this period or is it a bad idea?

Pleeeeeease don't even think about it! Unless of course, you have a death wish.

Definitely NOT a good idea. I suggest you wait till the 2014 Mt. Fuji July/August climbing season.
